Senior iOS / tvOS Developer

Employment: full-time (6 month project)


Our client is a Sweden tech provider which is currently developing AndroidTv, TVos, Amazon FireTV apps for Video streaming. The entire team is big, around 50 people. Most of them are Swedish.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of proven experience working on commercial company products / SaaS
  • Hands-on experience with iOS and tvOS development
  • Strong experience with Swift (main codebase) and Objective-C (libraries)
  • Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
  • Solid understanding of Apple design principles and App Store guidelines
  • Experience with automated testing, A/B testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns: MVVM, MVC (Redux is a plus)
  • Comfortable with backend–frontend integration (full-stack mindset)
  • Experience working with REST APIs and Firebase (Realtime Database)
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Experience with pair programming
  • Clean code mindset, well-structured and maintainable solutions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

Nice to have requirements:

  • Experience with video streaming platforms and media-heavy applications
  • Experience with tvOS-specific UX and Apple TV applications
  • GraphQL experience
  • Basic knowledge of Kotlin (cross-platform collaboration)
  • Experience with white-label / customized solutions
  • Experience with Chromecast
  • App Store submission and management
  • Understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
